OFFICIAL RULES
1. Sponsor
The Monthly Overnight Stay Giveaway (the "Contest") is sponsored by The Ayrshire Collection, Elora, Ontario (the "Sponsor").
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.
Employees, contractors, agents, and representatives of The Ayrshire Collection, as well as members of their immediate families and persons living in the same household, are not eligible to enter.
3. Contest Period
The Contest is ongoing and conducted on a monthly basis. Each monthly contest period begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the first day of the month and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the last day of the month.
Entries received after the monthly closing date will be entered into the next monthly contest period.
4. How to Enter
No purchase is necessary.
Eligible individuals may enter by subscribing to The Ayrshire Guest List through the official entry form available on The Ayrshire Collection website.
Limit one (1) entry per person per monthly contest period.
Individuals may also enter without subscribing by sending an email to stay@theayrshirehotel.com with the subject line "Monthly Stay Giveaway Entry" and including their full name, city of residence, and telephone number. Email entries will receive one (1) entry into the applicable monthly draw.
5. Prize
One (1) winner will be selected each month.
The prize consists of a complimentary one-night stay for two guests in a standard accommodation at a participating Ayrshire Collection property in Elora, Ontario.
The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the prize varies by season and room type but is estimated at between CAD $300 and CAD $600.
The prize:
is subject to availability;
must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of the draw date;
cannot be exchanged for cash;
is non-transferable; and
excludes incidentals, gratuities, transportation, and any additional purchases not specifically included.
Blackout dates may apply, including holidays and special event weekends.
6. Winner Selection
One eligible entry will be selected by random draw on or about the fifth (5th) business day of the following month from all eligible entries received during the applicable contest period.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner Notification
The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address or contact information provided at the time of entry.
If the selected entrant:
cannot be reached within seven (7) days;
declines the prize; or
fails to satisfy the requirements of these Rules,
the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and select an alternate winner.
8. Skill-Testing Question
To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor.
9. Consent and Privacy
By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest.
Individuals who subscribe to The Ayrshire Guest List consent to receiving marketing and promotional communications from The Ayrshire Collection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails.
Entrants who use the alternative method of entry described in Section 4 will not be added to the marketing email list unless they separately consent.
10. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time if circumstances beyond its reasonable control interfere with the administration of the Contest.
The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who attempts to tamper with the entry process or who violates these Rules.
By accepting a prize, the winner agrees that The Ayrshire Collection may announce the winner's first name and city of residence for promotional purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. Acceptance of Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules and all decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
